Since joining Steer in 2008, Mark has supported clients across a wide range of differing transportation markets in the US and internationally, providing services including rail ridership and revenue forecasting, environmental and equity analysis, climate emission reduction estimation, strategic and regulatory advice, business case analysis, and peer review and technical guidance.

Mark serves as Steer’s joint market lead for rail across North America, supporting both public and private sector clients in the establishment and enhancement of rail services. Across all the work Mark undertakes, his core aim is to provide clients with rigorous analytical outputs they can trust, coupled with pragmatic advice and strategic guidance, enabling them to make informed decisions with confidence.
