Mary has over 10 years’ experience in transportation planning, working in both the public and private sector. Her experience has focused on public engagement, transit and multimodal system planning and how technology can improve transportation, for both the customer and transportation provider.
Mary joined Steer from TransLink in Vancouver, Canada, where she worked on a variety of major projects. She was responsible for coordinating the redesign of Downtown Vancouver’s bus and trolley network, as well as being a leading player in municipal engagement to coordinate transportation projects across the 22 municipalities in the region.
At Steer, Mary supports the technology team, working in areas such as user experience, information design and web and app development for transit agencies and cities. She also manages projects dealing with the mobility aspects of transit oriented development, first and last mile solutions, and the impact of technology on the future of mobility.
