New Mobility

The way that people travel is changing. Technology is disrupting transportation faster than ever before – new products, services, and business models are changing the way people and goods move around and between our cities, towns and rural communities. Navigating these changes effectively is important to maximize the potential benefits of more efficient, lower emission, safer and personalized services and minimize risks such as increased congestion, carbon emissions, air pollution and inequalities.

Our New Mobility team work closely with a wide range of public and private sector clients to plan, develop, implement and monitor projects across the following key areas of New Mobility:

New mobility services

People first, technology second

We believe that behind every technology and innovation, there are people who use it. As such, user experience is at the centre of our approach and thinking. We are passionate about how new technologies can help shape our urban and rural environments for the better, integrating and complementing existing public transit and active travel, as well as digital and energy systems.

How we can help you

We help public planners, private operators and others to plan for, develop and implement new transportation technologies and services. Our expertise is based on a deep understanding of user behavior and the factors which help or hinder the adoption of new technologies, enabling us to build an evidence base to inform planning and implementation of new products and services. Our core offer includes:
